Starboard Freeride 150 and a Tushingham Bolt 5.75m.

Windsurf – **** Levington.
With a good breeze from the west today I was keen to get over to Levington early, so Mag and I did a shop at Lidl at 8 as our son Rob and Grandson Arlo are coming for the week and we had to stock up! Then a quick breakfast before I set off for my third windsurf foil in as many day arriving at the marina at 9.25 in lovely sunshine with some cool clouds. With low water at 8 the river was filling up well but I still launched by the marina entrance with my 5.75 at ten and was soon up and flying doing short runs across the river before venturing down to Felixstowe docks, a mile and a half run, a little gusty at times with so me big gusts coming through but the 5.75 handled it well. I ended up doing 7 runs to the docks, just me out blasting with the many yachts out enjoying the sunshine and good breeze :) I really enjoyed the long runs and got some nice gybes in and after a couple of hours I decided to head back, a few runs in front of the launch beach before calling it a day just in time as the crowds arrived for an afternoon session. I took a few pics of the river action wingers. A windsurfer, a rare sight at Levington these day and a large ship heading to Ipswich with the help of a couple of tugs, pack up, shower and head for home spotting some deer on the road out of the marina – top day!

Walk – **** Felixstowe with Arlo and Rob.

Rob and Arlo arrive from Devon around 4 we have great time, toad in the hole for tea before going for a long walk along the seafront leaving home at 7 with Arlo whizzing about on his new bike having fun in the Spa gardens where a large crowd are watching a band play!
